Our School has a long tradition of valuing physical activity in the lives of students as a way of teaching them discipline, self-esteem, humility, teamwork and the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. We encourage students at CGGS to represent the School in their chosen sport and to explore their passions and learn new skills through an activity that interests them.
CGGS's sports and co-curricular program offers numerous competitive pathways for students to participate in sport through ACT School Sport, Associated Southern Colleges (ASC) and club-based sporting opportunities. These include territory, state and national events and involvement with the Independent Girls' School Sport Association. Non-competitive sporting activities are also offered and are encouraged to ensure that students have a well-rounded experience at CGGS.
