Belinda Moss OAM

Board Chair

Belinda is an accomplished educator and leader with extensive experience in governance and policy development.

She previously served as the Chair of the School Board for nine years, where she dedicated her efforts to enhancing educational excellence, improving governance and fostering strong values within the School community.

Belinda's background includes over 20 years as a secondary teacher and administrator, followed by senior roles in defence and national security within the Australian government. Recognised with the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to education, Belinda believes education is the greatest enabler of all. She is passionate about empowering students and contributing to her community. Belinda is actively involved in the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. She is also on the Board of the Sapphire Coast Anglican College, Bega and St Peter’s Anglican College, Broulee. She is married to Philip and is the proud mother of three sons, two of whom attended CGGS in their early years, and has nine grandchildren.

Sally Clear

Board Director

B.Ed (Psychology Major), GradDipPA, DipFP, CPA


Sally is a retired finance professional with over three decades of experience in accounting and financial planning.

She has held various roles, including Finance Officer at the Council on the Aging in the ACT and Senior Accountant at ClearCorp/MGI Joyce Dickson.

In addition to her finance career, Sally has a strong background in education. She has taught at Trinity School in Harden and has volunteered extensively, including serving as a presenter at CGGS.

Sally remains actively involved in her community having served on the Anglican Finance Committee and volunteering with the ATO Tax Help program. In her spare time, Sally enjoys traveling, cycling, rowing and bushwalking.

Brooke Disney

Board Director

BComm (PR)


Brooke is Director of Philanthropy at the ANU, where she applies a global perspective to contemporary philanthropy best practices.

Before taking on this role, Brooke held senior leadership positions at the University of Melbourne and spent over a decade working in the not-for-profit sector. Her career has taken her from remote villages in Papua New Guinea to cultural capitals across Europe, and she has led fundraising initiatives throughout the United States and Asia.

Brooke's expertise encompasses principal and major gifts, leadership giving, trust and foundation fundraising, bequests and corporate partnerships. From 2017–23, she served as a Board Director for Kidsafe Victoria, where she championed child injury prevention.

Brooke holds a Bachelor of Communications from Monash University and has studied at the University of Missouri in the United States and Kantonsschule Schaffhausen in Switzerland.

Now based in Canberra, she balances her professional life with raising her two daughters—Alice, currently in Year 7, and Grace in Year 9 at CGGS.

Alan Francis

Board Director

BEc (Hons), BA


Alan has been a member of the Gabriel Foundation Limited Board since 2006 and has served on the School Board since 2008.

Alan began his career as a graduate in the Department of the Treasury and also worked in the Departments of Finance and Defence, and in the New Zealand Treasury. After leaving the Public Service, he established a consultancy company that provides strategic advice to government and private sector entities on major initiatives.

Alan has three daughters—Sarah (Class of 2014), Rebecca (Class of 2016) and Laura (Class of 2018).

Sue Hart

Board Director

BA, MBus, FAICD


Sue’s association with CGGS began in 1971 when she joined the School in Year 11.

She previously served as the Deputy President of the Parents & Friends Association and as the President of the Grammarians' Association. In 2000, Sue was appointed to the School Board.

Sue manages a successful business that provides Secretariat and Governance services, building on her career in Federal politics and the Public Service.

She two daughters, Madeleine (Class of 2000) and Stephanie (Class of 2005) who joined CGGS and four granddaughters, all enrolled at the School.

Cathryn Ingram

BAcc, FICAA

Board Director


Cath is a seasoned assurance and advisory professional with 37 years of experience specialising in governance, risk management and financial integrity.

She has held significant leadership roles at KPMG, including Lead Partner for the Australian Government account and Chairman of the Canberra Office.

Cath has extensive expertise in conducting Board performance reviews, developing risk management frameworks and performing financial statement audits across various sectors. She currently serves as a Chair and/or member of several Australian Government Audit Committees. Recently, she was appointed to the Audit Committee of the International Monetary Fund.

From 2015–22, Cath was a member of the School Board. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Canberra and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Terrie Jones

Board Director

MEd, BA, GDipEd, GAICD, MACEL


Terrie Jones (Principal of CGGS) brings 25 years’ experience as an educator, and extensive capabilities in strategic leadership and complex organisational management.

Across Terrie’s career she has been drawn to leading schools that are committed to excellence in learning outcomes, a strong ethos of pastoral care and a vibrant sense of community. She holds a Master of Educational Leadership, a Bachelor of Arts, a Graduate Diploma of Education (English and History) and has partially completed a Master of Business Administration. She is accredited by the ACT Teacher Quality Institute and was one of the first teachers in NSW to achieve Highly Accomplished Teacher status with the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL).

Terrie has taught in carious contexts in government, independent, co-educational and single-sex schools, and has studied and presented across Australia, the UK and the US. In Terrie’s view the dedicated CGGS community continues to astound and impress with their capacity, capabilities and spirit as they collectively work together to create a hope-filled, more just future.

Bob Nattey LVO

Board Director

FAICD


Bob is an experienced director with a diverse background across several industries, including a distinguished naval career.

He has held significant roles in finance, public relations, and community service. From 2012 to 2024, he served as the Chair of Finance for the Gabriel Foundation. Additionally, he is a founding director and the Executive Chairman supporting small businesses in Australia.

As an active community leader, Bob is the President of the ACT Chapter of the Australia-Britain Society and has held numerous leadership positions, such as Chairman of the ACT Cancer Society and the Capital Arts Patrons Organisation. He holds multiple engineering qualifications and is passionate about promoting cultural and educational ties.

Bob is married to Charlotte and is the proud father of Madeline (Class of 1985) and a grandfather to Olivia (Class of 2021), Caitlin (Class of 2023) and Sophie (Class of 2026).

Rod Sutherland

Board Director

BComm, MSAA, MAICD, KSJ


Rod is a former member of the Gabriel Foundation Board and has been a member of the School Board since 2013.

He has served as the Chairman of both the Anglican Investment and Development Fund and the Diocesan Schools Commission. Rod holds qualifications in accounting, finance and financial planning, as well as a Master of Stockbroking. He has over 39 years of experience as a stockbroker in Canberra, starting his career at JB Were & Son before establishing the Canberra offices for Macquarie Bank and Shaw and Partners.

Rod is married to Ladner, and they have two daughters, Jane (Class of 2008) and Clare (Class of 2012).
