Parents & Friends Association

The Canberra Girls Grammar School Parents & Friends Association is your connection to your school community. Our goal is to support greater engagement and a sense of community in our school by providing opportunities for parents and carers to build their connections with each other.

The P&F Association also raises funds for those special extras that enhance the educational experience of CGGS students, including the state-of-the-art Junior School playground and PDHPE rowing ergometers to name a few.

Here's the P&F Constitution, where you can learn more about our group.

I invite you to get involved and share our vision. Support upcoming P&F activities, share your ideas, meet other parents and help us build and strengthen our community.

The P&F Award for Outstanding Contribution to the School Community

This award is given to a member of the CGGS community who has offered exceptional and enduring support to the School and our students.

P&F Small Grants

The CGGS Parents and Friends Association (P&F) offers small grants of up to $10,000 to school groups to enhance the school community and the experience of CGGS students.

Any group associated with the School is welcome to apply for a grant, including sporting teams, Friends of Music members, co-curricular activities groups, and many more.

In the past, grants have funded a new sailing boat, a coxed four rowing boat, new choir robes, the Prep playground in the Junior School, resuscitation equipment, the ‘Chill Pill’ pastoral care initiative, and timpani drums for the Junior School.

Applications are called for in Term 4 each year.
