Student News - Term 4 Week 8

As part of their HERO Signature Program, 60 Year 3 students recently competed in the Orienteering ACT Primary Schools Championship. Students competed in pairs, exploring the Barrenjoey Peninsula on the Molonglo River. Our CGGS rowers are off to a hot start! Last weekend our rowers competed in two regattas. Student News - Term 4 Week 7

Izzie (Y12) has been accepted into the Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Year for 2024. The program selects aspiring professional dancers aged between 18–24 years to experience full-time training with the Sydney Dance Company. In the program, dancers work towards completing an Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance (Elite Performance) over two years. Duke of Edinburgh students win Gold

Congratulations to Arya (Y12) and Serina (Y12) who received Gold Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) awards from the Governor General recently. The DoE program is a globally recognised initiative that encourages young people to challenge themselves, develop new skills, and contribute to their communities. Congratulations to Eva (Y10) and Ruth (Y8) who were awarded Gold at the National History Challenge presentation yesterday afternoon. Gold Awards are judged to be the best in the ACT for their categories.
