On Friday, 21 October the Nexus Club enjoyed a “Ragtags and Royals” (pirates and royalty) movie and board game night. Once again, CGGS performed strongly at the Australian Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships (AIDPSC) and Speakfest. Students from across Australia compete in four categories (Debate, Impromptu Speaking, Persuasive or After Dinner Speaking and Interpretive Reading) in the AIDPSC and are awarded a combined score for their performances. The Year 8 girls had an amazing experience at their camp in Term 3. After the cancellation of the camp the past two years due to Covid restrictions, everything came together in 2022 for a magical experience for all. The girls had four days of glorious weather, a jam-packed schedule of activities, and the chance to get to get to know others and the alpine environment.
