The final month of Term 3 has not slowed the pace of our students' success, as they continue to apply themselves within and outside of the classroom.
As part of her Signature Program project, Annabelle (Year 9) hand-crafted a blanket for Good Omen Goodeze, an organisation that provides personalised comfort 'goodies' to patients and their loved ones at health services throughout the Canberra region. Annabelle presented her blanket to a representative from Good Omen Goodeze this week during National Student Volunteer Week.
Six CGGS students played for Eastlake in the U14 Girls AFL Grand Final recently. Congratulations to Grace, Erin (Year 7), Lily, Maisie (Year 8), Siena and Talei (Year 9) on winning the flag!
CGGS found success after an enjoyable day on the track at the ACT Schools Mountain Bike Championships. With several students competing in their first race ever, CGGS finished third and fifth in the Junior Girls and fourth in the Senior Girls. Well done to our students who challenged themselves by testing their skills and resilience.
