Student News: Term 2 Week 8

ANU Maths Day

Two of our outstanding teams recently competed in the prestigious ANU Maths Day. Our Year 12 team achieved an impressive 7th place overall, a testament to their dedication and intellect. The event featured teams of five students engaging in four challenging activities designed to foster teamwork and a passion for mathematics. Our Year 11 team comprised Isabelle, Jaya, Kalya, and Adarae, while the Year 12 team featured Emily, Helena, Arya, Muntaha, and Ingrid. Congratulations to both teams!

A slice of learning at Crust Pizza

Our Pre-Kindergarten students enjoyed an exciting excursion to a local pizza shop, where they explored the intricacies of pizza-making. This hands-on experience enriched their understanding of real-world systems, aligning perfectly with our inquiry-based learning approach. The children's enthusiasm and active participation underscored their development as curious inquirers. We thank the Boora family for their generous donation of pizzas, making this an unforgettable educational experience.
