Our Year 10 Design and Technology class attended the CIT Bridge Challenge recently, competing against 16 teams to create the strongest model bridge. Well done to the three CGGS teams who made it through to the finals.
Recently Pinipa (Y7) competed at the ACT Junior Chess League, hosted at Campbell High School. There was a total of 64 competitors across two events, with a 15 minute, 10 second per move tournament format. Congratulations to Pinipa, who finished as the ACT Junior Girls U18 Rapid Champion!
At the Senior School Athletics Carnival, Lotte (Y11) won the Golden Slipper race, while Olivia (Y7) broke the 13 years records for the 800m and 1500m. Congratulations to Glebe House, who sung their way to victory in the House Chant!
At the ASC Cross Country Carnival, CGGS finished as Overall Girls Champions for the second year in a row.
