Well done to Swairee (Y7) who was selected for the School Sport ACT U12 Girls Cricket team. Swairee will compete at the School Sport Australia Championship in Darwin later this year.
Congratulations to Brigid (Y7), who was crowned the FSC U12 Branch Champion for the 1km beach run at the Surf Life Saving Nippers.
Students from Years 7 to 12 competed in Futsal Gala Days all throughout the week. Thank you to Ms Martine Hadden for coordinating the teams and for joining each team at their respective competitions.
Today the Junior School held its first House Speaking Competition. Three students from each house (Bates, Chisholm, Gilmore and Mackellar) recited a poem focussing on one of the four values of the School: Integrity, Courage, Respect and Inclusion. All of the students spoke brilliantly, and should be very proud of their wonderful poems. Congratulations to Alice (Y6) who was crowned the overall winner of the competition.
