Rowing Nationals

CGGS made history at the 2025 Rowing Nationals by claiming their first-ever Gold Medal in an open school event, winning the School Girl Coxed Quad.

This marks CGGS’s first Gold Medal at Nationals in 12 years, a monumental achievement for the team and a testament to their hard work, dedication, and teamwork.

Debating

Two of our students have made the semi-finals at the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships (WIDPSC) held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Congratulations to Ridhima (Year 11) who made the semi-finals for interpretive reading, after dinner and impromptu categories, and Grace Disney (Year 10) who made the finals for the impromptu category. We wish them luck as we await the results!

IPSHA Cross Country

On Wednesday, Mrs Burrows and Miss Resch accompanied 10 students to The Kings School Preparatory in North Paramatta to represent CGGS at Independent Primary School Heads of Australia (IPSHA) Cross Country.

The girls represented CGGS extremely well and achieved some amazing results. Congratulations to all girls!

Hockey Australia captain selection

Year 10 student Annie Bush has been selected as one of the captains for the U16 ACT girls state team participating in the Hockey Australia National u16 championships in Adelaide this week.

Congratulations on this achievement, Annie!

Year 3 camp

Our Year 3 students had a fun-filled camp on Thursday and Friday at the Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre, where they participated in many activities including archery, riding and navigating mazes!
