At the NSW State Championships, our rowers finished First in the Senior Girls 4x+ in a potential course record time of 7:08, third in the U17 4x+ and third in the U19 4x. This follows the six gold medals the program won at the Kings PLC Regatta a week earlier.
At the ACT Track Cycling Championships, Emily (Y11) placed First in the Flying200, First in the Time Trial, and Second in Keirin. Her achievements across the championship secured her the ACT U17 Women's Sprint Champion title for 2024. Georgia (Y7) finished Third in the Endurance classification and Second in the Sprint.
Roses are red, violets are blue, at Canberra Girls Grammar School, we celebrate Galentine's Day too! Our students celebrated love and friendship on Wednesday 14 February with lots of colour, music, sweet treats and chalk drawings on the entrance to the Senior School campus. Led by the 2024 Senior Council, all year levels had the opportunity to take part to connect and contribute to our vibrant school spirit.
