Staff achievements

Congratulations to Science and Psychology teacher Stephanie Kindon, who made her debut for the Canberra Chill hockey team recently!

Stef and the Chill played the Tassie Tigers in Hobart, in Round 4 of the HockeyOne league. They won the game 3-0, with Stef opening the scoring!

This is an outstanding achievement for Stef, who is not only regarded as a brilliant psychology teacher but is currently the Acting Head of Glebe House at the Senior School. Well done, Stef!

Lachlan McGinness, one of our Science Teachers from the Senior School, recently demonstrated his love of theatre by taking part in the Queanbeyan Player's Production of H.M.S. Pinafore.

Lachlan has been part of more than 15 musical productions including playing the role of Bert Healy in the CGGS production of Annie in 2017. "I have been performing in musicals ever since I was at university. This is my first show since the pandemic took place and it is great to be in theatre again. I have had the chance to meet and work with so many talented, fun and kind people."

Lachlan is a fine example for how our students can balance their schooling and professional lives with their creative endeavors. Well done to Lachlan and the entire cast on a great show!
