There is still time for you to reserve your tickets for the third event in our Podium Program Master Class series.
We are thrilled to be joined by ACT Meteors player and Channel 7 commentator Holly Ferling on Wednesday 16 August from 7.30am at Yhuuramulum.
Unlike cricket, Holly’s aspirations have no boundaries. She debuted for the Australian Women’s Cricket Team at age 17 in all three formats—ODI, T20 and Test Cricket—all while completing her schooling in Kingaroy, in country Queensland.
Since then, she has represented the Brisbane Heat, Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades and Perth Scorchers in the WBBL, and now plays for the ACT Meteors in the Women’s National Cricket League.
Off the field, Holly prides herself on being a dual career athlete, completing a Journalism Degree and now juggles her playing commitments with hosting and commentating on the Summer of Cricket for Channel 7.
Join Holly to hear her take on integrity in sport from an athlete’s perspective and how to be aware of the do’s and don’ts in sport (alcohol, drugs, positive role modelling).
