Our Open Days are whole school experiences where families can visit the School and hear from the Principal, educational leaders, a student Q&A panel, and participate in a tour.
There are no more Open Days at CGGS in 2024. However, we invite you to join us for our our Senior School Open Evening on Monday 4 November, our Junior School Open Morning on Thursday 14 November or a School Tour at the CGGS Fete on Saturday 26 October.

ELC and Junior School Information Mornings
Our ELC and Junior School Information Mornings are scheduled, campus-specific events where prospective families can visit the School. Families will have the opportunity to see the ELC and/or Junior School in action, hear from key educators, and take a short tour.

Our unique twilight guided tours of the Senior School campus provide you with an opportunity to explore CGGS in a small group setting with our passionate educators. You will also hear from our Principal for a concise information session and have the opportunity to chat one on one with our Senior School Directors.

Now in its incredible 97th year, the CGGS Fete returns on Saturday 26 October!
Spread across three acres of the Senior School campus, the CGGS Fete is one of the biggest and well-known annual school fetes in Canberra, attracting over 3,000 attendees each year.
School Tours of the Senior School are available at the CGGS Fete, at 11am and 1pm.
We encourage prospective families to register for one of our Open Days, held in each Term. However, if you are unable make one of our Open Days and are looking at enrolling your child in the next two years, we offer Personal School Tours where you can experience a tailored tour of the School. On a Personal School Tour, you will have the opportunity to observe our classrooms in action.

The Canberra Girls Grammar School (CGGS) community warmly embraces international students. The School is committed to ensuring overseas students settle in comfortably and are well-supported during their stay in our Boarding House, experiencing the benefits of living and learning in Canberra, and everything that CGGS has to offer.
